Math Work Mats

So ever since we switched to common core math three years ago and dove big into five frames, ten frames, double ten frames, and part-part-whole mats, I have tried to make my life easier!!  The first year we started with our new math series, I was always running around frantically trying to get copies made every lesson of a ten frame or a double ten frame.  I got so tired of always having to get them copied that I finally smarted up!!!  I made a set of these popular work mats and printed myself a class set of 25, laminated them, and cut them out.  Now all I have to do is pull my file of ten frame mats and they are ready to use!!!  Let me tell you, it has made my life so much easier!!!

Here we are this week using our double ten frame mats to subtract larger numbers.  It was so easy to just grab this file of mats and we were ready to learn!!
