How many of you teachers get tired of your kiddos always asking this question, "How do you spell .....?" I do, I do!!!
So I tried to figure out what all they always ask me and in comes this latest product. It is a writing dictionary that covers many areas.
This dictionary includes:
1. 3 Cover pages {Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade}
2. Each letter of the alphabet gets its own page. I also included the top 200 words children in K-2 will most frequently see when reading text. There is also plenty of space to add words throughout the year.
3. A page where you can add all the students in your class.
4. Months of the year
5. Days of the week
6. Number Words for 1-30
7. Number Words for 10, 20, 30, and so on...
8. Colors
9. Family {mom, dad, brother, sister, etc., plus lines to add specific names}
10. Important Holidays
BONUS!!! I also included a section on Common Core Math terms with space to add a picture or write the definition of each. If you purchase it and there are words you would like me to add, just email me and I will add them free of charge. Check out a few of the pages below that are included. Click on any of them to take you to my TpT shop for a closer look!!

Math Work Mats for the Common Core
If you are anything like me, I am always needing something just real quick for any given lesson. I can't count how many times I needed to make student copies of math work mats for my firsties to use. Unfortunately, I never made a class set and laminated them for future use.
Here enters my latest packet. I am determined to get organized this summer so I know exactly what I have and where it is. I am switching schools next year, same grade, but moving across town. I am very excited for this move, but now it gives me a reason to organize, organize, organize.
I created this packet specifically to make a class set, laminate, and file away for any given day. They come in 8 different colors in chevron, stripes, and stars.
Work Mats Included:
**5-Frames
**10-Frames
**Double Ten Frames
**Part-Part-Whole Mats
**Place Value Mats in both ones/tens and ones/tens/hundreds
I am in love with them!!! For a more detailed look, click {HERE}!!
I would love to give a free set away to ONE lucky winner. Just enter using the rafflecopter below. Contest will run until Sunday, June 2!!

Types of sentences {FREEBIE}
We did a quick little review today over the types of sentences. I had my kiddos make a flipbook with three sections. We labeled each section with the three types of sentences. They had to fill out the end mark on the sentences and then cut them out and place them under the correct sentence type!!
The firsties loved making the flip books and it was an easy assessment tool for me to see who knows their sentence types and what they each end with.
Click on the picture below for some sentences your kiddos can mark and glue in their flipbooks!!
